About our tour
It is important to emphasize that it is a house museum of customs and traditions and you will soon discover a great deal about Canarian culture and traditions. Since the 40's, we begin the history of La Casa de Los Balcones, with its promoter, Mrs. Eladia Machado, entrepreneur of the time and mother of the current owner. La Casa de los Balcones is one of the most important architectural, cultural and handicraft references in the history of tourism in the Canary Islands.
Itinerary
Visit our manor house located in the historic center of La Villa de La Orotava, in this small corner you can enjoy a walk through its different rooms, overlooking our beautiful seventeenth century Canarian courtyard. A few meters away, through its cobbled streets with aromas of local crafts you can find the Lercaro Palace, which is a historic building and La Casa Eladia Machado, where tradition and art go hand in hand.
