A little tour of the island

As a first destination we will go to La Orotava, a town located in the north of the island, being this historic-artistic site, we will know part of its stately streets visiting one of the most emblematic houses of the town, the Casa de los Balcones, built in 1657. Secondly, we will visit San Cristobal de La Laguna, where we will make a tour of the first capital of the island, World Heritage Site since 1999 and seat of the first powers of the island, a city made for peace and architectural reference in the construction of cities in the new world. We continue our route towards Candelaria, ¡¡¡¡sí!!! here is where our patron saint is, affectionately known as "La Morenita" here we will visit the Sanctuary and we will be able to contemplate the statues that make memory to the nine Menceys that dominated the island before the arrival of the conquerors, here we will have the opportunity to have lunch contemplating the strong swell of the Atlantic sea. Once we leave Candelaria, we set off to see one of the most imposing formations of the island, the cliffs of the Giants. We will pass through the famous town of Santiago del Teide which honors the patron saint Santiago Apostle, historically associated with the hamlet of Masca, for this route we recommend our route Teide Masca. We continue our excursion to Garachico where we will visit one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, here we will walk through the historic center and we can enter its well-known natural pools formed in 1706 in the eruption of the black sand volcano. Finally, and as last point of visit we will arrive to Icod de los Vinos, where we will contemplate the mythical Drago Milenario, here we will taste the blood of the Drago. We will finish this beautiful tourist route arriving again to our pick up points to be able to rest and to continue enjoying the pleasures of the north of the island.
